WELCOME to the third edition of Animal Health Australia’s Farm Biosecurity News. We hope you enjoyed the first couple of editions and you are finding the latest news and insights from Australia and overseas of interest.

As you will be aware each edition examines one of our top five Farm Biosecurity issues; takes a look at biosecurity trends; updates you on AHA member news and looks at the latest Farm Biosecurity initiatives.

Our third edition appropriately focuses on farm biosecurity surrounding animal movement. This comes at a time when we see the movement of horses now relaxed and when many industries are re-stocking. We must remain vigilant though and we look at the processes and legal requirements in place to ensure the highest biosecuity measures are implemented on and off the farm.
